Spring Stampex 2012: TWO Royal Mail Stamp Issues



Stampex issue for Britons of distinction stamps 2012
The new Britons of Distinction stamps will be available at Stampex on 23rd Feb 2012

The Royal Mail stand will, no doubt, be as busy as ever as, on 23rd of February, Royal Mail will launch the Britons of Distinction stamps and the following day will see the issue of new pictorial Post and Go Stamps featuring British Sheep. Look out for special post boxes to obtain special Stampex First Day of Issue postmarks.

While the Royal Mail stand is always a popular port of call, there will also be around 85 UK and Overseas Dealer Stands to browse too. This is a chance to buy, sell and talk stamps with some of the biggest names in the stamp business.

And there's more to see, do and acquire! In the centenary year of her doomed maiden voayage, a customised Stampex stamp sheet will be available featuring the Titanic. A multi-frame competition for "Pictorial" classes takes place in the Village Green area. Boys and Girls of all ages will have the "Stamp Active Network" free activities area on the Mezzanine floor and the forthcoming London Olympics will be the main theme this year. Youngsters attending on Saturday should also watch out for a "Fun Auction".

Dates: 22nd February (11.30am-7pm), Thursday 23rd February (10am-6pm), Friday 24th February (10am-6pm) & Saturday 25th February (10am-5pm)

FREE ADMISSION and the first 7,500 visitors will receive a free catalogue and collectable postcard.
