GB Stamp Errors - King George V PENCF Error
This is understandable as many collectors rarely get to see some of these unusual items and they can become nervous about describing a stamp definitively without the reassurance of an experienced opinion. So with this in mind I will look to post clear images of some of the better known and rarer errors and varieties on the site in future to help collectors see examples and, perhaps, reassure them about their stamp or help them avoid an expensive mistake in the online auctions.

Above I've displayed a clear image of the King George V 1½d PENCF error. I've seen many a stamp shown claiming to be a PENCF error when there are still traces of the bottom bar of the E visible. As you can see, the real thing looks as if the final E of the word HALFPENCE looks clearly like an F with no trace of the bottom line of the E.
