England Cricket Teams No 1 Status Marked By Bletchley Park Post Office Cover

A limited edition commemorative cover has been issued by Bletchley Park post Office to commemorate England becoming the Number 1 cricketing nation following their remarkable whitewash of India this summer.

Two exclusive artworks by renowned cricket artist Christina Pierce are featured. One appears on the envelope and the other on the special 'Smilers' stamp on the cover. Each of the 500 covers produced is cancelled with a special handstamp. Bletchley Park Post Office Covers have grown in popularity over the years and many now command prices well above their original issue price so demand for this cover is expected to be high.
