Avoid Paying Too Much for Sheep on eBay
During Spring Stampex, on Friday 24th February, the next set of pictorial Post and Go stamps will be issued. This will feature British sheep breeds and is the first of three Post & Go stamp issues planned for 2012 to feature farm animals.
On 24th February sets of these stamps will be available dispensed from Hytech machines at Royal Mail's Stampex stand AND the Philatelic Bureau in Edinburgh (again Hytech printed) plus many Post & Go machines in Post Offices around the UK. The cost to order these stamps from Royal Mail direct will be £2.76 per first class set plus postage and packing (a flat £1.45 regardless of the number of sets you order). Yet numerous sales have already occured at higher prices on eBay where sellers are already selling the Post & Go Sheep although they do not possess them yet.

Perhaps some collectors can't get to a Post & Go machine or have more money than sense but, personally, I will be waiting to buy them myself, if not from the Royal Mail website, then via the Royal Mail eBay store which will be offering the very same packs at the very same issue price as their own website.
Royal Mail's eBay store also stocks many issues from the past year - all at the post office issue price - so why pay more than you need to on eBay?
Perhaps I'm just being dumb pointing this out and should really jump on the bandwaggon of preselling stamps in advance to make a profit and never having to spend my own money! But, call me stupid, I will just carry on using those good dealers on and off eBay that offer me stamps I can no longer buy at face value from Royal Mail direct.
